What should I do about this girl?

so first off im a painfully nice guy. Well a few days ago im walking a girl who I asked out and got rejected by home after drinking with some mutual friends, she was drunk anf I wadnt much better, but on said walk she mentions one reason she shot me down is because we could become good friends, after joining the rest of the group again I mention this and one of her friends tells me to just kerp being her friend snd shell come around. what should I do?
