Are my new balance shoes fake?

i bought a pair of New balance 574's at footlocker for $60 the other day, they seemed normal when i quickly purchased them but now that i look closer they seem very fishy. The shoes i just bought do not have ANY inside lining/padding. The inside is just the backside of the exterior fabric with seams and patching shown. They are not very high quality feeling and are not the same comfort i use to have with my old new balances, are they fake?
