Does my puppy have worms?

The puppy should have been to the vet within 42 hours of bringing her home. The puppy still needs to see the vet as she needs to be started on the shots she will need to get in her first year of life. Most puppies do have worms, that they get when nursing from their mother. It is a common thing, usually at the first visit the veterinarian will give them a pill to get rid of the worms.
