E-Mailing Microsoft about Ban?

I was just playing some Black Ops and right after an SnD match I got disconnected from xbox. I tried to sign back in but it said i had a Permanent ban on my account. I checked my e-mail and it said it was for profile or avatar modding. My profile was hacked a couple of weeks ago by one of my old friends, who now hates me, so he hacked my profile and modded most of it, the avatar, my gamerscore, i'm 10th in Cod4 (when im rly on lvl 12 1st prestige) and hacked me to 11th on MW2.I AM SAYING THE TRUTH IF YOU THINK IM LYING IT AINT MY PROBLEM SO DONT PUT SOME ANSWER CALLING ME A LIAR. Is there any way I could e-mail them and explain everything and see if they could just reset my gamerscore? Im really only worried because I have leveled up alot in Black Ops and I dont want to lose that.
