Had sex with a girl in 1996 a few times we broke up a year later im having moral christian problems?

i was about 26 years old and meet her from a mutual friend in the bar clubs in new jersey . I was sexual attracted to her and she was open to the relationship or she would not have commenced in a sexual relationship with me . The problem i'm having is to understand her thinking as to why she would accept a open relationship and Then move to a new state after the mutual friend died in a car crash and move to Texas with her family with out me knowing he died and not saying anything to me .I did look for her after ,I didn't hear from her after a few days . I did hear about her saying her family was moving to Texas soon . She seams to be a mams girl because a Google search seams she had opened a candy store in Texas with her mom , that went under a few years later.So what do you think she did it for the friend , looking for a boyfriend or was trying a new relationship .
