If jeans are fleece-lined,...the fleece can be easily removed,..right?

Depends on how it was made up to begin with -- generally this is done as if the fleece were an underlining, which means you may well have to completely sew the jeans again once you've removed the underlining. Chances are, this is going to be more trouble than it's worth.
