Two Boyfriend Problems?

So Iv been dating this guy for ovr a yr. But i hav a problm. about six months ago he got one of his first guy friend. he is bullied alot so he was excited. but this friend treats him and i horribly. iv talked to him about it but hd says that he cant risk losing his first friend. they hang out cuz of video games and that leads to the second problem. my bf has a video game addiction. he plays for hours a day and his grades are terrible. he is depressed because everyone (including His "friend") makes fun of him cuz of his grades. he cant see why i dont like snd support his friend when the guy has made him cry and beaten him up tons before. hes now even starting to choose this guy ovr me cuz hes so scared of losing him. he also doesnt realize these games are making things worse. im kinda his only friend whocares about him enough to speak up but he just seems confused. i rly want to help him, what should i do?
